Favorite Fall Lipsticks

I have never been much of a makeup girl, but as I begin to embrace all of its benefits and how FUN it really is to use it I have fallen in love with some of my new fall lipstick colors. At first it just began as a experiment, just  to see if I would like anything, and soon I found myself out searching every store for colors I had heard through another YouTube v logger or seen on instagram and now I am hooked! I love lipsticks! The matte lipsticks are my fave because they seem to be more long-lasting. I also love Wet-N-Wild because of the large selection of lipsticks at a really good price! So here is a video of mine showing you guys some of my favorite Fall lippies thus far! Favorite Fall Lipsticks!

What do you think?

Tropical Green

That's right you guys! Another juicing recipe that I found online and have feel in LOVE with. This is a green drink but it has a very tropical taste and doesn't require apples like a lot of the recipes that I found previously. I love the combination of the different fruits. This was an easy drink and has quickly became my fave so far.

Tropical Green

1/2 ginger thumb

4 leafs of kale

1 mango (without rind)

1 orange

1 cup of pineapple

Ginger Twist

So I have still been going pretty strong with juicing in my diet. I have only lost about six pounds, but I am still excited bout my new found love for healthy eating. I do have to be more persistent with finding time to workout, because with my bust schedule it's really easy to use that as an excuse to not work out as much as I need to. Either way I am still on my journey and I have no plans on turning back. I do know that this is a lifestyle change and I feel like I am well on my way.
So here is another juicing recipe that I have been enjoying. Its very exotic with a little hint of spice Check it out!

Ginger Twist

3 whole oranges (peeled)

1 whole pineapple

1/2 lime ( rind included)

1/2 ginger root

Curls No Heat

Hello Glam'More-Us  Ladies! I have been yearning for some curls, so I decided to do some Bantu knots on my upart wig. I think it came out really nice and I know these curls will last for a while. The best thing about doing Bantu knots for curls are that you don't have to continuously put heat on your hair for full juicy curls. Another benefit to using this style is that you can twist your hair up at night, go to sleep and take them out in the morning. This process can lessen the time it takes for all of us ladies to get ready for a new day each morning! I love the end product and so do the onlookers! Try it out and let me know what you ladies think!

No Closure Needed

There are other ways for you to rock you hair without the need of an expensive closure unit. I have incorporated the idea of an illusion part and the invisible part together to make a custom quick weave unit that features a natural lloking part, and helps you to protect your natural hair underneath the wig. I love this technique, and I am sure that if you gave it a try that you would love it also. It takes a little more work than your average quick weave the the finished product will have you drooling over your new hairstyle!

Feisty Fruit Punch

So I am searching high and low for some tasty juice recipes and I ran across this particular recipe online. I love the combination of the different fruits. It sounds really tasty and tropical and I absolutely love tropical fruits! So here is a  fun recipe for all of you who feel the same as I do. In this drink the taste of the pineapple and the oranges stand out the most so this was an easy "downer" if you know what I mean!

Feisty Fruit Punch

2 Medium Apples

4 Kiwifruit

1/4 Lemon (with rind)

1/4 Lime ( with rind)

2 Oranges (peeled)

1 Whole Pineapple

2 Cups of Strawberries

I think this has been the tastiest juice I have made so far. I want to try more with the strawberries and the pineapple (pineapple is my favorite fruit). I will continue to search for even better recipes for you ladies. So far the online side effect to me is a little head rush a couple minutes after I have drank a glass of juice. I have also been feeling like I have so much energy. Last night I could not fall asleep. I think the extra energy is great but not when it is time for me to go to sleep. I may  drink my last drink of the day around seven instead of eight so that I have enough time to burn the extra energy I am feeling.

Green Power Juice Recipe

Hello Glam'More-Us ladies, here is the second recipe that I am using for my juicing regime. I had previously shared with you guys another "green" juice recipe and I loved it, but the lemon made that particular drink really bitter. So here is another one without the lemon if you're like me and prefer not to have such a sour drink.

Green Power

2 whole apples

1 whole cucumber

1 Lime

5 cups Spinach (150g)

The lime used in this drink takes the bitterness of the lemon away. Lemon has nutrients in it that helps to increase you metabolism which made it an important addition to the previous recipe, but what good is it if you don't want to drink it? I hope you ladies enjoy this recipe.

Health and Fitness

Juicing My Diet
So 2013 is quickly coming to an end! I have a goal to lose at least thirty pounds before I walk across stage and truly complete my journey back to school! So I promised myself that I wouldn't wait to make it New Year's resolution, instead I am starting on my journey today! I started off in the beginning of my weigh-loss journey at 187 pounds. So let me first give you guys the history behind the extra pounds!
So of course I started back at school in 2008 and enrolled into the evening and weekend program at a local  university. My weight at that time was 144 pounds! So with such a busy lifestyle of working three jobs, going to school, being a mother and keeping up with my motherly duties, study late night for exams and doing homework I began to put on the pounds!

I contribute my horrible diet and the fact that I skipped meals all day only to make up for them really late at night and getting straight into my bed. I mean I would eat anything that was quick and easy to make ( junk food). So it didn't help that I immediately went to sleep with no physical activity to burn off all of those calories!

So here I stand today, I've lost a total of 15 pounds so far and I am still working towards my goal of thirty-five pounds lost. I have decided to add juicing to my healthy routine to help give me an extra health boost. I made my first "green" juice today and it was yummy, although I didn't care for the bitterness of the lemon I used. I actually documented my first juicing experience on camera, so if you guys would like to see it check it out on my YouTube channel at :

So below are the ingredients of my very first juice recipe:

Beginners Green Juice

3 Medium Sized Apples

5 Stalks of Celery

1 Whole Lemon ( including rind)

1 Large Orange (peeled)

8 Handfuls of Spinach (200g)

Below are some pictures of my first juicing experience. It was lots of fun and I determined to do this for 21 to 30 days. I will be substituting breakfast, snack and dinner for juice and eating one complete meal for lunch.

Camouflage Me

Camouflage has been a really big trend for Fall 2013 trends and I am absolutely loving it. I previously discussed with you guys my love for different prints. In my opinion camouflage is almost like any pair of black and white pattern pants. You can wear them with any color and they give you twist to your style. Camouflage also goes perfect for the change of weather and with its pattern we blend into the beautiful background of the colorful leaves and bright skies that Fall offers us. So I styled a couple of camouflage pants that I have in my wardrobe for you guys. I have three separate outfits using some of the same pieces. You can dress camouflage pants up and make them sexy or you can dress them down with sneakers and allow your accessories the job of giving them that feminine flare. You also dress down completely and wear them with sneakers and a basic shirt. Let me know what you think about all of the different ways that you can wear camouflage. Which one is your favorite?

Country Chic

So you guys I am a big lover of fashion! My fashion style includes a little bit of everything. i love to mix different textures, prints and colors. I also love to mix country with a city flare, or tomboy style with a little bit of feminine flare Colors make each outfit and original to me and adding a pop of orange or blue to an black & white outfit makes it pop that much more. I love fashion because it allows us to express our individuality. Everyone has a particular style that they love. Majority of the time I prefer sneakers over heels but I will through on some nice heels when I feel like a want to be sexy and fun.
So you guys here is my first fashion combination. This combination was fun, flirty and comfortable at the same time. Take a look!

Above is the complete outfit. I really love how all of these pieces just flow together and the pop of color given from the blue handbag just adds a little bit of fun to this country chic fit!

I purchased this beautiful chocolate brown faux leather jacket from Marshall's.

This animal print scarf and basic white sweater were both purchased at Ross Dress for Less

I had been looking all over for a hat as the one shown in this picture. This safari inspired hat was purchased at Ross Dress for Less.

I actually pulled my jeans inside of my boots to show all of the details on the beautiful camel colored boots. I love the spike and stud details that cover each strap on these boots, and the 2 1/2 inch heels adds to the comfort of these boots. I purchased these boots from the Shoe Dept.

I thought this was the perfect outfit for such a beautiful fall day. What do you guys think?
